So the absolute lowest FPS I ever get are 41 FPS when standing in the middle of the huge ass "Immersive Patrols"-fight between Rorikstead and Whiterun (about 40 enemies with spells, etc).

Here you go, done working, finally at my PC Sorry if this is a little garbled, attended a birthday and had delicious scotch.mmmmm:) Might not be everyone's cup of tea but I think its great. So until I get a monster video card, I'm sticking with Elder Souls. I'd love to play with some of the more demanding presets, Tetrachromatic in particular, but my current PC and I are in a Mexican Standoff as far as Skyrim goes. I've had great happiness since installing it and thought this may be a service to some of you with ENB envy. I just feel like this preset deserves more attention. ~600 mods total, 247 plugins (some merged. So if you're not into fiddling with values and such, your experience will no doubt be different. I tweak on every ENB I download, and turn some settings off and on as much as for performance as preference. This represents ~10-15 fps loss overall for me, as in towns w/o ENB active, I run ~45-60 with zero lag or stutter. With Ambient Occlusion and DOF set to "OFF", the Sweetfx (which gives a nice little punch to the saturation and FPS, but not too much either way) set to "ON", I run a heavily modded game: ETaC, Verdant (1k), Vivid Landscapes (1k), Lots of npc and little addition mods etc.

And, as I have no less than 20 enb's on my storage drive, it's still my favorite. The last version had some issues that have been addressed to my great satisfaction.

I don't know how better to say it.Įlder Souls just got an update to work with enb v.305. It makes the world of Skyrim feel like a real world in the North. This ENB is a vanilla enhancement, leaning towards the dreary (w/o it's SweetFx active, see below) rather than an overly vibrant, fantasy or monochromatic, gritty overhaul. It's not heavy on the features, but delivers on satisfaction. NOTE: This is the "anti" to Tetrochromatic, (which I tried, and REALLY liked and then my poor GTX760 said WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO HERE MAN?!?!?) I digress.
